I Am A Lab Rat

I'm a lab rat.

You’re a lab rat.

We're all lab rats.

Every other American – our families, friends, co-workers, children (born and unborn) – are lab animals in the largest uncontrolled global experiment in chemical exposure and altered evolution in the history of mankind.

For decades, government regulatory bureaucrat have been asleep at the wheel and turned us into un-consenting test animals for hundreds of unregulated and largely unknown stealth chemicals that can kill you. (Why You Can’t Trust Corporate & Federal Regulatory “Science”)

The stealth chemicals in your everyday life been scientifically proven to cause or promote:
  • cancer,
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • diabetes,
  • infertility,
  • obesity,
  • birth and developmental defects
  • behavior problems and,
  • other health problems, some of which can be inherited by future generations.
These chemicals can disrupt your gene functioning and hormones. Scientists call these hormone disruptors, “Endocrine Disrupting Compounds” – EDCs.

We call those substances stealth chemicals because the harms they cause appear as a variety of diseases that don't seem to be connected with them. See: What Is A Stealth Chemical?

You can find a lot of the science behind that over at StealthSyndromes.Com.

What's The Human Lab Rat Trying To Do?

For the past two-and-a-half years, I have been using my scientific education and work background to collaborate with biologist Becca Yeamans-Irwin on a totally geeked-out look at hormone/endocrine disruptors. (What Is The Stealth Syndromes Project?).

Our goal has been to create a site where the average intelligent non-scientists could grasp the problems and understand the science. We still hope that totally science-based site will help people manage the personal risks posed by endocrine disruptors.

To explain all this and base it on solid science, we have read hundreds of the thousands of the highest quality, peer-reviewed, scientific papers published in the most credible scientific journals.

Why You? Aren't  Government Regulators Protecting Us?

Riiiight.

If you believe that, then you're the sort that buys into "The Check Is In The Mail" and other exampkes of the top-ten lies.

As we did our reserarch, we found solid, verifiable evidence that the federal government relies on a batch of half-assed crap science: obsolete, poorly done, riddled with major financial conflicts of interest and lacking any sort of credible oversight.

The discovery of this malignantly incompetent mis-regulation by the federal government turned into a 16-article series on Why You Can’t Trust Government Science.

An index to the whole 16-article series can be found here.

FDA Scientists Make Mistakes That Would Flunk A High School Sophomore

Amazingly, some of the less-credible journals publish third-class studies so shot through with the sort of basic experimental fuck-ups that would get a high-school sophomore biology student an "F" for their lab work.

Where Will This Blog Take You?

From the outset, we have worked toward a controlled scientific study to measure health effects on Becca and me as we developed ways to eliminate hormone disruptors from our bodies. The protocols and measurements have evolved over the past two years.

We are now (April 18, 2015) in the process having our Experimental Protocol approved by the Committee for Human Research at a major American medical school. This experiment will be a proof-of-concept, indicative but not definitive. The results will be measured by standard blood tests that are routinely conducted at most hospitals and blood labs.

It's ironic that this sort of approval is needed since all of the chemicals in the experiment are already present in our food, water and our environment.

Becca, who is planning to have a family, has learned enough about stealth chemicals that she has opted out of the experiment. That's because we have reduced our own risks along the way as we have learned about them. And that means we are not good average subjects to start the experiment.

The experimental protocol requires us to spend a period where we eat, drink and live like average Americans -- and that means exposing ourselves to much higher levels of stealth chemicals. And the scientific evidence is overwhelming that stealth chemicals harm fertility and the unborn as well as children.

So, that leaves me as the lab rat.

Once approved, this blog will provide a step-by-step log of what I did, how I did it and what the results were.

I will be posting photos, videos and other details so you can use them in your own life if you desire.
